There is a local pub at a longer walk or short drive but nothing else for shops, cafes, or restaurants within an easy walking distance. The hotel stands as its own retreat; guests never have to leave to enjoy the on-site spa, restaurant, and bar.

A vehicle is needed to get to any sightseeing, shopping, or broader dining options. For example, the historic city walls of Chester are just a 10-minute drive away.
